FAT LIP

Well, today Nathaniel got his first FAT lip. Domonick was pulling his pants up and he lost his balance, and fell down. He bleed and cried for a while and then he was ok. Now it is just really swollen. Just thought I would share the photo with you all. This other picture I just thought was cute. He was playing with his daddy's hat. Yesterday he turned the big ONE. Does not seem possible.

Beautiful Day

I just wanted to let everyone know that Nathaniel finally got in the grass today. He has always cried when the grass touches him. Today since it was so beautiful I decided to take him out with some toys and see what he did. He sat first between my legs and did not want the grass to touch is hands, but then later he started crawling in the front yard. Here are some of the pictures we took of us out there playing with Doodle.

Joined the YMCA

Well, we made our first trip to the YMCA today, and everyone really enjoyed it. Brittany, Corey, and Domonick went swimming and they really enjoyed it. Vance and I went through orientation and learned how to work all the machines. We had a great time, and may go back in the morning. (Did not realize how out of shape I was.) Nathaniel did his first time in daycare while we were working out. He made it about 45minutes before he got extremely upset. They said he did well until the door keep opening and closing. (other kids coming in) He keep thinking it was me, and when it wasn't he got upset. I was very proud of him though, because it was his first time. He did not know what to think about the other kids. He has never really been around anyone his own size. I think in time he is going to love going and playing with the other kids.

Nathaniel is feeling a lot better now. For anyone who did not know he had double ear infections and some kind of viral infection (flu). He is not running fever anymore and is now eating solid food. Oh yeah and we got a full nights sleep last night.

Vance has his first track meet Monday and he is very excited about this. He is going to keep working out with me at the YMCA so he is ready. He wants to do 100 meter run. He is doing good in school too. In fact he got a PAWSitive OFFICE REFERRAL sent home yesterday. It says that he exemplifies Self-Discipline, Respect, Patience, Peace, and Responsibility. Teacher wrote "Consistently making good choices while others in class are not. Thanks for being such a good student!" Thought this was awesome.

Well, I am going to get some rest while I can. Here is a picture of Brittany and Caleb (friend) on wacky day at school & big boy Nathaniel in his rocker watching Barney.

Happy Valentines Day

I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentines Day, and share some of our pictures. I gave the kids a little buckets with some things in it for Valentines Day, and Michael sent me flowers. He still shocks me sometimes. I hope everyone has a blessed day and love one another. (Brittany's friend Kelsey was over so I got a picture with all of us in it.)

Domonick's Birthday

I am sorry it has been so long since I have updated the blog. I have been busy. Michael got to come home for 5 days, so he got to be home for Domonick's birthday party. He had a friend stay the night Friday night and then Saturday a few more friends came for cake and ice cream. Then we loaded up and took the kiddos bowling. They had a good time, and Domonick was thankful his daddy got to be here.

Nathaniel did very well when his daddy got home. I worried that he would not remember Michael (it had been 5 weeks), but he did very well. He did not go right up to him, but by the first night he came around. He is now back in Louisiana for 45 days. (Here is a picture of Nathaniel trying to grab daddy's tongue.)

Everyone is doing very good, and growing more and more. Nathaniel is soon to be 1 year old, February 27, 2008. He is growing so fast. They did a test on him today to check if he is at the right age range, and he passed it with flying colors. In personal-social, fine motor skills, and language he scored in the age range of 14months. In his gross motor skills he ranged in 15 months. She was blown away at how well he is doing.

I hope everyone is doing fine. Love you all and God Bless.
